Survey of Animation- Running Turn Around

This project was for my Survey of Animation class. We had to do a turn around animation, I decided to do a run cycle as well as the turn around.

We had to sketch out 3 possible characters for this project, and I chose the first sketch as my character, and as a personal challenge, decided to do a run cycle turn around. It was difficult, and I had to take into account all the principles of animation. I struggled with the foreshortening a lot, as well as keeping the character going in a circle, because of the squash and stretch that comes with a cat running. Overall, I think this was a good exercise for me, and I learned a lot from it.
